Dear Parents , Greetings

Thank you for your incredible cooperation and support! Undoubtedly, in this fast-paced world, there’s a necessity of joyful experiential learning to build 21st century skills among students. Our students need to be nurtured to become global citizens with community values and practices. Keeping this in view, students at GIS are involved in both local and global initiatives and inculcate the attributes of emotional balance, critical thinking and cognitive development. With the advent of technology trends, the traditional classrooms are making students self-reliant as well as tech-smart. Virtual classes and e-learning are making inroads in education. Our other important concept of teaching learning is making students discover and learn, thinking out of the box, learning outside the classroom to feel the nature better. By taking learning beyond the classroom, opportunities to make learning concepts real and relevant are increased. Experimenting and exploring new ideas and facts is also a fantastic way to learn. Life skills help students develop a positive attitude, self-reliance, interpersonal skills, effective communication and empathy for all living beings. They allow children to utilise critical thinking skills, to participate in classroom discussions and to test their theories in a hands-on learning environment. GIS believes in instilling life skills among students as they enable them to keep their body, mind and emotions healthy as well as develop a rapport with peers and others. Our curriculum has ample co-curricular activities for the development of various domains of mind and personality such as intellectual, emotional, social, moral and aesthetic.

It is rightly said that when students work together, they retain information quicker and longer. Teamwork and character building are the hallmarks of GISians, be it teachers or students. From time to time, students are enlightened about the importance of having good values, being honest and trustworthy as well as taking responsibility for their actions.  GIS Team leaves no stone unturned to provide our students quality education and help them achieve personal growth and professional success.

‘Let’s keep alive the child’s sense of wonder, let’s kindle their curiosity to discover the mysteries of the world! ‘

With Best Regards
